Returns & Defective Items...

San Chi Publishing and our it's distributors do not accept returns of opened items unless the product is deemed defective. Please check DVD compatibility charts found on the CustomFlix web site before purchasing DVD titles.

Please return any items directly to our reputable distributors. Defective videos should be returned to CustomFlix, and books to Buy Books on the Web. Click here for complete details on returns for video items.

San Chi Publishing, producers, agents and distributors are not responsible for any injury, discomfort or damages suffered as a result of the use or misuse of any of our titles or the information contained within. Purchasers are solely responsible for the proper use of this material.

Some of our titles contain instruction for strenuous physical activity. We recommend that purchasers seek the approval of a physician before starting any exercise program or training programs that involve physical activity.

The originality of each title is the sole responsibility of the producer or author. San Chi Publishing is not responsible for any violations of copyright, liable or other laws pertaining to the content of any title.

Unauthorized Duplication, Reproduction or Distribution...

All titles are protected by copyright by the producer or author and San Chi Publishing. Materials are intended for the private use of the purchaser. Unauthorized duplication, reproduction, distribution or public viewing or display of any San Chi Publishing title is strictly prohibited.

Violators will be reported to Federal Authorities and our attorneys are instructed to prosecute civil redress to the fullest extent of the law.

Material Suitability for Minors...

San Chi Publishing does not knowingly publish or distribute sexually explicit materials of any kind. Some titles contain frank discussions of violent behavior intended for comprehensive and realistic training for adult martial artists and professional law enforcement and security agents and officers. Some titles may contain strong language and graphic depictions of violent behavior unsuitable for viewing by unsupervised minors. A disclaimer will appear on our web site and on the lead-in for titles for which we recommend adult supervision. It is solely the responsibility of the purchaser to assure that materials unsuitable for minors are secured from unauthorized viewing.

Sales Tax...

San Chi Publishing will collect sales tax for purchases made within or shipped to the state of Maine.

Producers, Authors & Associates

Standards for Materials for Publication & Distribution

San Chi Publishing will not produce, publish or distribute titles nor will we consider titles for the same containing sexually explicit materials, unwilling participants, gratuitous depictions of violence, gratuitous explicit language, minor children without parental consent to appear or any other content that we deem unacceptable.

San Chi Publishing will discontinue production or distribution of any title we found unacceptable at any time by our staff, agents, distributors or representatives.

Publishing Agreement & Copyright

Producers and authors must sign a San Chi Publishing Agreement. Copyright registration is the responsibility of the producer or author.

Guarantee of Originality & Indemnity from Liability

The producer or author is solely responsible for the originality and legality of all materials submitted. San Chi Publishing is not liable for any damages arising from the use of any title or from violations of copyright, state, federal, local or international laws committed by the producer or author.

Producer & Author Accounts & Royalties

Producer or author accounts must be current at all times. San Chi Publishing will remove titles and web pages for any producer or author whose account is more than 10 days past due.

Royalties will be distributed monthly for all accounts accruing a minimum of $50 in royalties. If a producer or author earns less than $50 in royalties in a given month, royalties will be paid in the first month in which a total of $50 is reached. Royalties are paid within 15 days of the last day of the month for all royalties accrued for the previous month. Royalties are not considered accrued from an outside distributor, reseller or agent until funds are received by San Chi Publishing.

Retailers & Re-sellers

Pricing & Discount

The reseller agrees to retail San Chi products for no more than the specified cover price. The reseller is entitled to discounted wholesale pricing on all titles appropriate for general distribution. Some titles may not be eligible for wholesale discount if those titles have are restricted by proprietary arrangements with particular authors or organizations.

Ordering & Returns

All titles must be ordered directly through CustomFlix. Any returns, defective merchandise or other manufacturing issues must be addressed with CustomFlix directly. Quantity discounts and special orders will be processed through San Chi Publishing. These offers will be promoted occasionally through the San Chi web site and mailing list.

Retailer/Reseller Discount Code

The discount code is for the sole use of the retailer/re-seller and the retailer is solely responsible for the use of this code. The authorized re-seller is responsible for all sales made with this code. Access can be denied at any time for violations of our Company Policy or for any illegal action on the part of the re-seller. All orders must be shipped to the address on the re-sellers Discount Application. Any orders shipped to another address may void the re-seller's discount. If you need titles shipped to a different address for any reason or your address changes, contact San Chi Publishing directly.

Duplication, Reproduction and Public Viewing

Violators will be reported to Federal Authorities and our attorneys are instructed to prosecute civil redress to the fullest extent of the law.

The re-seller may provide public viewing of San Chi Publishing titles for the sole purpose of promotion within the scope of the re-seller's normal retail activities and premises.
